Compound. is an investment calculator. This policy explains how the app and this information website handle data.

Calculations stay local unless you share them

Saved calculations are stored on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Preferences and goals are stored locally. Selected projection values are shared with the Compound. widget through an App Group.

The app does not automatically send your calculation inputs to a developer-operated server or advertising provider. When you choose Share, your result goes to the destination you select. Your device backups may include app data.

Advertisements and tracking choices

The free version displays banner ads using Google AdMob. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions, crash information, and performance information for advertising, analytics, and service operation. Read Google’s SDK data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, the app requests Apple’s tracking permission. Denying tracking permission prevents advertising-identifier access through that permission; it does not stop every form of advertising data processing.

You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Premium

Premium removes banner advertisements. Depending on the app version and when you upgrade, the advertising SDK may already have initialized. Removing banners does not undo earlier data processing or guarantee that all SDK activity immediately stops.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. The app checks purchase entitlements and keeps a local cache to enable Premium. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Purchase and billing information is handled under Apple’s policies.

Your choices and data removal

Delete saved calculations from the Saved tab. Share results only with destinations you choose. Removing the app removes its local app data; backups and previously shared copies are managed separately. Advertising-provider data is handled under the provider’s policy.

Children

Compound. is not designed specifically for children. The app does not claim that all advertising is configured as child-directed or exclusively non-personalized.

This website

These pages use no analytics scripts, advertising, or tracking cookies. The hosting service may process normal connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the website. Following external links takes you to sites with their own policies.
